If you have recently been vaccinated against COVID-19, or will be soon, you can enroll in V-safe to keep track of any side effects. V-safe, developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is a mobile post-vaccination health checker that uses text messaging and web surveys to provide personalized health check-ins after you receive a COVID-19 vaccination. The CDC recommends that you register for V-safe after receiving your first dose. You can use V-safe to report any side effects after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. The app allows the CDC to monitor data on side effects that patients may be experiencing after getting vaccinated so that they can better understand how safe COVID-19 vaccines are. It can also remind you to get your second vaccination if you need one. However, v-safe cannot help you schedule vaccine appointments.
