In the Spotlight: EMBRACE and Refugee Health (sponsored by RISE, Emory University)
The Emory Center for Reproductive Health in the Southeast (RISE) will be hosting the first session of their new “In the Spotlight” series this Wednesday, April 17, 2019. This event will feature EMBRACE refugee health. Assistant Director Heidi Miller and Community Liasion Mushda Oriakhil who will share how EMBRACE supports, advocates for and educates refugees throughout the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experiences. Ghenet Besera, MPH (Emory University, Behavioral Sciences and Health Education) will discuss research priorities for improving the reproductive health of refugee communities in the U.S.
