How Madhappy is Working to De-Stigmatize Mental Health
by Jordyn Rosenberg
Madhappy, a fashion and lifestyle brand, was created with the focus of creating a conversation around mental health. In addition to selling clothing, the brand raises awareness and accessibility to those struggling with mental health.
One part in their efforts to de-stigmatize mental health includes a podcast where hosts and Madhappy founders, Peiman Raf and Mason Spector, have weekly conversations with guests about various mental health topics. Guests include celebrities and other well-known figures in the media. Learning that even the most popular faces in the media struggle with their mental health can provide great value to those struggling. There is also so much value in shared experiences, and Madhappy has created a safe space for conversation about sensitive topics.
Each episode features a new special guest, where they discuss a range of topics of all things mental health and well-being. Previous episodes have included conversations around suicide prevention, sobriety, and even self-growth and balance. The podcast covers the entire spectrum of mental health–from guests’ struggles and challenges, all the way to positive aspects.
The guests are vulnerable, honest, and relatable, which is what makes this podcast so inspiring and uplifting. No one story is the same, and each guest brings a new and unique perspective to the table. Previous guests on the podcast have included Gary Vee, Lindsey Vonn, Emma Chamberlain, Logic, and countless others.
The Madhappy Podcast is a must-listen to anyone interested in mental health and well-being.
