Covid-19 has had a deep impact across the country, but is impacting some communities more than others. In particular, people of color, those living in poverty, and those with other chronic conditions are at a higher risk of being hospitalized and dying from Covid-19. Emory University researchers have created an online tool to help track the disparities in impact.
The Covid-19 Health Disparities Dashboard provides up to date national, state, and county level data on the virus and related social determinants of health. Users can compare counties and compare to national averages. The tool also provides media resources and information on interpreting the data.
