The Center for the Study of Human Health and Arts at Emory bring you two exciting events with Dr. Garfield Kwan, the founder of Squidtoons Comics which translates research into comics for the public.
The first event is a hands-on worship to be held on March 18th from 12-2:30 at the Emory Student Center Multipurpose Room 1. At this workshop, you will work with Dr. Kwan to brainstorm ideas and storyboard a comic or infographic of your choosing. Perhaps yours could be published! This will be a hands-on event and has limited seating. Register at EmbodiedMar18.eventbrite.com or the QR code on the flyer below.
At the second event, which is March 18th from 7-8:30pm at the Carter Presidential Library and Museum, Dr. Kwan will give a detailed presentation of his work on Squidtoons. There will also be a book signing. Reserve a seat at atlantasciencefestival.org or the QR code on the flyer below.
